Join teacher Hannah Bender in exploring the texts of Genesis, especially the Garden of Eden, and how those stories are told in Pop culture. Over the quarter you'll look at movies, music videos, advertisements, maybe even TikToks, and see how we interpret our creation stories.

With Lil NasX, WallE, Steve Carrell, and more we will look at the many forms the Genesis stories have taken in our modern world. Through music videos, movies, advertisements, and social media we will learn together how these stories are still held in our societies collective consciousness and what that means for us as Jews as our Torah cycle brings us through these biblical stories.
