What if we told you you already know everything you need to start studying Torah? What if the incredible knowledge and wisdom you have acquired through your life was more than enough to have something important to say? What if sharing our ideas about Torah wasn’t a competition, but was collaborative and exciting? And what if struggling with these beautiful but challenging texts was celebrated? I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s all true!

B’Yachad is taking Torah out of the ark and bringing it to the people on the patio tables of All Season Brewing this Tuesday! Well, we’re not literally bringing those beautiful old scrolls - but you get what we mean. We’re making good old Torah study easy, fun, and accessible! So bring a sweater and an open mind to learn texts, share Torah, and help us build this exciting new Jewish collective community.

The Torah Studio is a radically accessible and inclusive Jewish Learning organization that teaches learners the text study tools they need to build a resilient relationship with Jewish text that is emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually nourishing. Liana Wertman (she/her) builds dynamic learning spaces that empower you to find your Torah voice and the confidence to share that wisdom. No prior anything required to start learning, just bring yourself!

B'Yachad LA is a collaborative group bringing together 20/30s groups from around our city. Instead of competing for attendance and "best programming" we are going to do it all together. Each institution will continue to have their own, internal, centralized, 20/30s group. But we will come together to learn once a month and celebrate holidays all together in a more robust, intentional, creative and expansive way. We hope this collaborative allows 20/30s across LA to come together not just with the same group of people they always see, but to expand the young Jewish network. Making a very large Jewish city feel smaller and more personal to you!
