The Book of Jonah • Chapter 2

It's the High Holidays and the Book of Jonah is the funniest book in Torah. Sure, the bar is low, but it's parody of prophecy and prophets is truly spectacular. Together we'll learn it, laugh about it, and discuss how this humor might affect our Yom Kippur practice. Taught by Liana Wertman

About the Event

Join this short High Holidays series with Liana Wertman, founder of the Torah Studio. We'll be working through one chapter of Jonah each week through all of September.

Our classes include Hevruta/Partnered Learning time to allow you to engage and go deep into a Torah text on your own, followed by a large group discussion to find even more ways to connect with the texts.

ACCESSIBLITY

Live Captioning will be offered.

Verbal participation is required during Hevruta and any form of participation is encouraged in discussion.

Video is optional the whole time.
